UH-60 supporting UN General Assembly hit by drone

A UH-60 from the 2-82 Aviation Regiment, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division was hit by a drone while flying over a neighborhood over Staten Island, New York City on Sept. 21.

Irish Army tests RBS 70 air defense system

The Irish Army recently carried out test-firing of the RBS 70 and RBS 70 NG air defense systems. A total of ten missiles were fired at aerial and static surface targets.

VMFA-121 practice hot-loading AIM-120

During the Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course (WTI) 1-18 in Yuma, Marines from VMFA-121 practice hot-loading the AIM-120 on the F-35B. During a hot-load, the engine of the aircraft is still running while ordnance is being attached.

Germany and Norway place firm order for 5 A330 MRTTs

OCCAR РEurope’s organisation for the management of cooperative armament programs Рhas placed an order for five Airbus A330 MRTT aerial tankers on behalf of Germany and Norway.

Not all Kiwis support Singapore’s deployment of fighters in New Zealand

Singapore has completed its deployment of six F-16D+s to New Zealand’s Ohakea air base on Sept. 25. The local media reported that not all residents living nearby welcome the training exercise.
