OCCAR – Europe’s organisation for the management of cooperative armament programs – has placed an order for five Airbus A330 MRTT aerial tankers on behalf of Germany and Norway.

Netherlands and Luxembourg had earlier placed an order for two tankers. These aircraft will be managed under the European/NATO Multinational Multi-Role Tanker Transport Fleet (MMF) program.
