Overhaul of Admiral Kuznetsov affected by budget cuts

According to Interfax, the Russia military has decided to cut the budget for the overhaul and modernization of aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov.

An anonymous source said the budget will now be reduced by half from the proposed $859 million. The overhaul of the ship’s boilers will proceed but upgrades to its combat systems will be affected.
