A CH-53E helicopter that made an emergency landing in Okinawa on Oct. 11 had suffered an in-flight engine fire.
The rotorcraft from HMH-462 was forced to land in the village of Higashi.
YouTube video footage of the crash site shows another CH-53 attempting to put out the fire using a helibucket.
