Media reports from Russia say Ukraine’s Antonov and Russia’s Aviastar-SP are in close talks to resume cooperation on servicing the An-124.

The jet – designed by Antonov – was manufactured by Aviastar-SP and used by Volga-Dnepr for its air cargo business.
Relations between both parties came to an end following the annexation of Crimea in 2014. Antonox hopes the engineering work will bring in fresh cash while Volga-Dnepr needs to keep its aircraft serviceable.
