KAI says LM wants price cuts; talks with Argentina, Botswana at an “advanced stage”

At a press briefing on Nov. 10, KAI President and CEO Kim Jo-won told reporters that talks with Argentina and Botswana over the T-50 are at an “advanced stage” and “good results” are expected later this year or early next year.

Kim also disclosed that Lockheed Martin has requested to slash the price of the T-50A so that it can outbid Boeing in the U.S. Air Force’s T-X competition.
