Tu-22M3 modernization to start from next year

CEO of Tupolev, Alexander Konyukhov, told TASS that his firm will begin the modernization of the Tu-22M3 supersonic bomber next year.

The aircraft will fly in 2018 and has been designated Tu-22M3M. The bomber will have an improved avionics suite.
