La Tribune reported on Nov. 16 that the French Ministry of Finances is no longer opposing the sale of 12 Dassault Rafales to Egypt.

This comes after the French cabinet intervened and directed the Ministry to lift the ban. Bercy was concerned that Cairo had borrowed too much to pay for its military expansion.
