Chinese EMALS benefited from British technology?

China has said previously that its electromagnetic aircraft launch system (EMALS) was made possible thanks to an integrated propulsion system developed by Navy engineer Rear Admiral Ma Weiming and his team. South China Morning Post said on a Nov. 19 report that this was possible thanks to British firm Dynex Semiconductor.
