Documents from the Air Force said the base is currently operating at “four to five times what the space was originally intended to support.” There is also limited ramp space to launch combat operations.

Muwaffaq Salti Air Base is playing host to not just U.S. but NATO fighters from Belgium and Netherlands as well.
