The turbofan engine designed specifically for the Sukhoi PAK FA fighter has made its first flight on the stealth jet on Dec. 5.
Video and photos of the flight shows the engine mounted on the port side of the aircraft. The flight from Zhukovsky lasted 17 minutes.
