The Hindu reports that New Delhi is making an attempt to buy second-hand Mi-35s and donate them to Afghanistan.

The news report says a Indian Defense Ministry team is also expected to travel to an East European country to examine the rotorcraft.
Afghanistan also wishes to have grounded military helicopters previously donated by India to be repaired.
