A report by Hindustan Times says the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has taken an interest in India’s indigenous Astra Beyond Visual Range Air to Air Missile (BVRAAM).

The weapon has been test-fired from India’s Su-30MKI and the next step is to integrate it on India’s Mirage 2000 fighters. The UAE is said to be keen on arming its Mirage 2000-9 with the Astra.
