Two more Air National Units have been chosen to transition to the F-35A. The service declared on Dec. 21 that the 115th Fighter Wing at Truax Field Air National Guard Base, Wisconsin and the 187th Fighter Wing at Dannelly Field, Alabama are the preferred locations to bed down the F-35A.

F-35As are to arrive in Wisconsin in early 2023, followed by Alabama later that year.
