Taiwan is seeking to buy the new air-launched long-range precision guided munitions for its F-16Vs and the AGM-158 JASSM (Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile) and AGM-84K SLAM-ER (Standoff Land Attack Missile-Expanded Response) are what the Air Force wanted.

The report by Storm Media says the service requires weapons that can attack targets at a range of 300km. The current weapons in its inventory, such as the Wan Chien and AGM-84L are unable to do so.
