The self-contained electronic warfare pod is hosted by either a MH-60R or MH-60S. Its role is to provide surface warships with electronic warfare surveillance and countermeasure capabilities against anti-ship missile (ASM) threats.

The company will start manufacturing in early 2019 with a target to reach initial operational capability in 2021.
