Ilyushin Bureau’s Chief Designer Nikolai Talikov said in an interview with TASS that his firm will complete testing of the new modernized Il-78M-90A aerial refueling tanker by end of this year or early next year.
He added that the tanker will leverage on those tests done on the Il-76-MD-90A to achieve a shorter timeframe.
