Indonesia’s new air force chief hopes to sign Su-35 contract this month

Speaking to reporters after he was sworn in as Indonesia’s Air Force chief of staff, Air Marshall Yuyu Sutisna said he hopes to see the contract signing to buy 11 Su-35s this month.


The jets will replace the F-5s at Squadron 14. Sutisna added that he is trying to speed up the procurement of five ground-based radars and two passive radars.
