Brazilian Defense Minister Raul Jungmann has assured Saab’s Chief Executive Officer Hakan Buskhe that Boeing’s plan to take control of Embraer is not going anywhere.

The defense ministry said in a statement on Jan. 25 that the sale or spin-off of Embraer’s defense or commercial units are ruled out as well.
Saab was concern that any tie-up between Boeing and Embraer could result in the leak of sensitive data from the Gripen project.
