Ukrspecexport was given a contract to overhaul seven Croatian MiG-21s and the supply another five refurbished jets. These aircraft were supposed to be flying till 2023 but Croatia was unable to operate them after 2016.

Croatia informed Ukraine last week that they take back the jets – 131, 132, 134, and 135. Ukraine will have to replace them with other jets that come with state guarantees.
