U.S. Army wants THAAD and Patriot units in South Korea to tie up

The U.S. Army has identified a need to make its THAAD and Patriot air defense units to share a common network and those in South Korea are spearheading the effort.

If successful, the THAAD’s AN/TPY-2 radar will enable the Patriot missile units to expand their battlespace, Brig. Gen. Randy McIntire explained to Defense News during an interview on Mar. 14.
