During Senegal’s Independence Day celebrations on Apr. 4, the country’s President announced that four L-39NG light attack aircraft have been ordered.
Externally, the L-39NG differs from the original L-39 by ommitng wingtip tanks. Aero Vodochody substituted them by having wet wings instead. The new jet is also powered by a single Williams FJ44-4M engine.
