Workers at Italy’s F-35 assembly line to go on strike today

Workers at the F-35 assembly line in Cameri Air Base, Italy will go on a one-day strike on Apr. 24 to protest against working conditions.

Workers are unhappy that they are currently hired under agency contracts instead of full time positions with Leonardo.

The Italian aerospace company is tasked with running the assembly line. It has replied that full time staff positions will be offered from this year.
