The Israeli Air Force B-707 aerial tanker has been certified to refuel U.S. Air Force F-15s and F-16s.

The certification was done whilst one of the tankers is at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska for RED FLAG-Alaska 18-1. One of the challenges for air crews of both sides is to communicate and learn each other’s procedures during in-flight refueling.
