USS Milius has entered the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations May 14 and the destroyer will be homeported at Yokosuka, Japan, to join Destroyer Squadron 15.
The warship was upgraded to the Aegis Baseline 9 combat system over the past year while in San Diego.
Milius joins USS Benfold and USS Barry as the final destroyer to transition from the U.S. 3rd Fleet to the U.S. 7th Fleet.
