Canada’s Procurement Minister Carla Qualtrough has disclosed that Australia will be transferring the first two F/A-18s in 2019.

Qualtrough added that the final costs of the acquisition of 18 jets has yet to be determined. However, the Liberal government has set aside up to $500 million for the purchase.
