Airbus to offer helicopter armed with HForce for Japan’s AH-X contest

Airbus has decided against offering its Tiger attack helicopter for Japan’s AH-X attack helicopter contest that will replace its AH-1S.

Instead, the European company will offer solutions based on the HForce common weapons system, Flight Global reports.

Across the Atlantic, Bell will be competing in the competition with the AH-1Z while Boeing is likely to respond with the AH-64E.
