Mi-26 to flight test new engine in 2023

An anonymous source told ATO.ru that the Mi-26 heavy-lift helicopter will begin flight testing a new powerplant starting from 2023.

Russia plans to switch the engine choice from the Ukrainian D-136 to the Russian PD-12V.

Flight testing should be completed by 2025.
