South Korea will try to sell KT-1 to India during Moon Jae-in’s visit

South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in will be in India next week for a state visit and his delegation is expected to discuss the sale of KAI KT-1 turboprop trainer to India.

The Indian Air Force downselect the South Korean aircraft in 2011 but eventually choose the Pilatus PC-7 as its basic trainer. The service has a requirement for more trainers.
