Taiwan’s Army to adopt TC-2 missile for air defense

Up Media reports on Jul. 13 that the Republic of China Army will adopt the Sky Sword 2 (TC-2) air-to-air missile for its mobile air defense needs.

Code-named Project Chin Nu, the National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology will adapt the TC-2 for the army’s requirements.

The news report says testing of the TC-2 fired from land was completed in 2013 but the program was later shelved for lack of funding and interest from the Army.
