World’s oldest active duty fighter pilot

Squadron Leader Phillip Frawley is acknowledged by the Guinness World Records as the world’s oldest active duty fighter pilot. Recently, he retired 49.5 years of service with the Royal Australian Air Force.

  1. When I retired august 1, 2017 I had served 49 years and 50 weeks in the Swedish Air Force as a pilot. More then 11000 hours flight time. in fighters more than 5000 hours.
