Transport Canada has clarified that it is the Canadian government agency that is keen to acquire a Eurohawk unmanned aerial vehicle from Germany.

Spokesperson Marie-Anyk Cote said the department is sourcing an aircraft for its Arctic surveillance program and no specific type of aircraft has been selected yet. The Eurohawk is one of the solutions being evaluated.
