KAI sells 3 KT-1B to Indonesia, to upgrade T-50i with radar and canon

Indonesia has decided to buy three KT-1B basic trainers from Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) and upgrade its T-50i.

The $90 million contract was signed between KAI CEO Kim Jo-won and head of Indonesian Defense Facilities Agency Agus Setiadji at Indo Defense 2018.

The T-50i will be upgraded with a radar and a canon.
