T-38 that crashed last month was making emergency landing when it went down

The pilots of a T-38 were making an emergency landing at Laughlin Air Force Base when it crashed on Nov. 13.

Both pilots ejected but one was killed. The jet was reported to be suffering from a hydraulic failure.
