USMC is practicing HIRAIN missions as well

The U.S. Army has been practicing HIMARS Rapid Infiltration (HIRAIN) missions over the past few years using USAF C-17s. Now, the Marine Corps are doing the same using their own KC-130Js.

Two M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) were flown from Marine Corps Air Station, Camp Pendleton, California to Dugway Proving Grounds, Utah, Dec. 07 by VMGR-352 to support Exercise Steel Knight.
