A French Air Force Mirage 2000D fighter assigned to Nancy-Ochey Air Base has crashed on Jan. 9 during a low-altitude training mission.

The wreckage was discovered near Mignovillard in the Jura region, at an altitude of about 1,000 metres, BBC reports.
A search for the crew members is currently underway.
