A tornado struck the southern, support side of Tyndall Air Force Base at around 6:30 pm local time on Jan. 20.

Nigerian Air Force to take delivery of new AW109s in March

Head of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, disclosed on Jan. 19 that five AW109s and one Mi-35 helicopters will be delivered this March.
