South Korea is reported to have shortlisted five different helicopters for its Marine attack helicopter program.

They are: AH-1Z, AH-64E, T129, S70i and MUH-1. The last two types of helicopters will be weaponized for the attack role.
The plan is to procure 24 examples to have an attack helicopter battalion for the Marine Corps Air Corps that is standing up in 2021.
