German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung (FAZ) said on Feb. 10 that Russia has at least 64 9M729 cruise missiles in its inventory.
Two battalions are deployed in Mozdok in North Ossetia and in Shuya, close to Moscow. One training battalion exists in Kapustin Yar. The location of a four battalion is unknown.
