Taiwan’s National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology has confirmed that the next iteration of its Teng Yun medium-altitude long-endurance UAV (MALE UAV) will be ready in October 2020.
The research institute was asked by the air force to redesign the UAV to add external store carriage capability.
During the briefing to lawmakers, president of the institute Gao Chung-hsing says the UAV has a ceiling of 25,000 ft.
