A medevac Black Hawk helicopter from Fort Drum Army Base was damaged after a snowmobile collided with it at an airstrip on Huntington Road on Mar. 12.
The helicopter crew was waiting for sunset so that they can fly back to base using night vision goggles.
The snowmobile rider was injured and had to be air-lifted to the hospital.
