U.S. Navy wants 10 corvette-sized unmanned ships armed with VLS

The U.S. Navy is requesting $2.7 billion over the next five-years to buy 10 2,000 tons corvette-sized unmanned ships to patrol the Pacific Ocean.

These ships will be fitted with a variety of sensors and eventually a vertical launch system (VLS).
