Several media outlets have quoted a report by Jane’s saying that India has decided to buy 240 Spike anti-tank guided missiles (ATGM).

The decision was made during a Army Commanders’ Conference in New Delhi on the second week of April. It is considered an emergency purchase and does not need approval from the Ministry of Defense as the amount is within the $72 million limit.
