Investigators say the pilot had entered a negative G departure leading to a spin that was unrecoverable.

The aircraft was practicing air-to-air combat with a F-22 from the 525th Fighter Squadron.

The report said the direct cause of the mishap was the pilot’s incorrect application of forward stick with full right rudder.
