A Vietnam People’s Air Force (VPAF) Su-22 hit a wall during landing on Apr. 23. The pilot did not suffer any injury.

The jet was landing at Yên Bái Air Base and the pilot reported having issues with the landing gear. The drag chute was reported to have failed during the landing due to high speed of the aircraft during the landing roll. The fighter ended up hitting a wall.
