Pentagon says China’s first CATOBAR aircraft carrier will enter service in 2022

The latest Pentagon 2019 China Military Power Report says the first Chinese aircraft carrier with catapults will enter the fleet in 2022.

The second carrier will join the fleet by end of this year.

Construction for the third carrier started in 2018.
