U.S. willing to sell PAC-3 and THAAD to India

The U.S. government has told New Delhi that it is willing to sell the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) and Patriot Advance Capability (PAC-3) air defense missile systems.

The offer to sell those systems came as Washington back tracks on its promise not to sanction India under the Countering American Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) for buying the Russian S-400 air defense missile system.

Hindustan Times says the offer was conveyed to India recently.
