Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa recently went solo on a MiG-21 last week and now there is news that he will personally lead a ‘missing man’ formation flight to honor Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja.
Ahuja was killed 20 years ago during the Kargil war when he ejected over Batalik and was killed by Pakistani troops. He was assigned to Squadron No. 17 and Dhanoa was the squadron commander at that time.
