Dr. Will Roper, the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Air Force for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, told reporters at the Paris airshow that he hopes to buy more of Kratos Defense’s XQ-58A Valkyrie drone.

Roper says those drones will be paired with manned aircraft for testing purposes. He added that the decision could be made as soon as fiscal 2021.
