RMN chief says Chinese carrier did not enter Malaysia waters

The Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) chief Adm. Mohd Reza bin Mohd Sany has refuted media reports that China’s aircraft carrier Liaoning entered the country’s waters during its recent cruise.

“If it happened in our waters, our ships would have reported to me because they would have been there,” he said during a press conference on Jun. 24.
